TMI: An exploration of parents oversharing in the digital age
For my senior thesis, I co-authored, designed, and published a book TMI: An Exploration of Parents Oversharing in the Digital Age. Using skills that I have learned over the course of four years as a Media Journalism and Digital Arts major, I was able to extensively research my topic, conduct several interviews, organize information, and create a cohesive project that showcases my journalistic and writing abilities.
.
TMI: An Exploration of Parents Oversharing in the Digital Age provides an in depth look into the way social media has changed the way parents are raising their children. By talking with parents, psychologists, media professionals, data specialists, and more, this book explores sharenting, the recent phenomenon of parenting while oversharing content of a child online. This book aims to answer why parents overshare, what the implications of oversharing can be, and how sharenting can be resolved.
